Monthly Giving -- Join us in the Melody!

Can you imagine your favorite song without the melody? A good melody is the heart and soul of a piece that everything else is built around. You can have that same vital impact on music programs in our community!

Be a Melody Maker with a recurring gift of any amount! Spread your contribution over time and continue your support with no further action required through automatic monthly giving. Simply select the monthly gift option in your Donation Preferences with your online gift for recurring gifts through your credit card.

To set up ACH debits from you bank account, submit an Authorization Agreement for ACH Debits [PDF] to NISOM along with a voided check. ACH transactions will be securely deducted from your bank account on the first Friday of each month (or Monday in the event of a holiday). Hard copies of the authorization form are available at our office, or we would be happy to mail one to you; please contact our office at (563) 690-0151 if you have any questions or would like assistance completing the form. Tax receipts will be issued annually.

Even $5 a month makes a difference, and you will stand out as part of the Melody Club in NISOM concert programs.

Fund Options

Annual Fund Operational Support
Help ensure the continuation of quality music programming in the Dubuque community with your contribution of operational support, our greatest need. Although tuition makes up a significant portion of our income, NISOM cannot operate out of student fees alone.

Wish List
Our 15th anniversary wish list is shrinking!  Thank you everyone who has already helped us purchase items that will allow us to better serve the community. Thanks to your generousity, we were able to purchase 4 guitar rack, 2 bass stands, a CD/mp3 player, a fire-proof file box, and a rolling cart. We still need help with these items:

  • Microphone for vocalists - $200
  • New wireless network & file share - $200
  • OR
  • "Wish list" fund gifts of any amount to be applied toward the above items

Scholarship Fund
Reach students directly by donating to our scholarship fund. Scholarships provide financial assistance to students in need to make their music education possible. Make a donation of any amount to our scholarship fund or contact us for information about sponsoring a student. Funds are needed for the 2016-17 school year!

Endowment Fund
For the donation that keeps giving, donate to our endowment fund. Donate to the endowment fund online now or send your contribution directly to the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque at 700 Locust St., Dubuque, IA 52001. Be sure to indicate the NISOM fund.

Memorials
Honor your loved one’s memory through the gift of music. Memorial donations of $100-$1000 will be immortalized on our memorial plaque. Donations greater than $1000 will receive separate recognition.

Get Involved: Volunteer Today

You can support music education in our community by donating your time and talent as a NISOM volunteer! We currently have two volunteer opportunities (multiple volunteers for each are welcome). Please contact us to volunteer or for more information.

Poster Distribution Volunteers: Help spread the word about great community events and programs! You can help in just a few minutes of time by occasionally taking NISOM posters and flyers to the businesses and churches you regularly visit--no need to make a special trip! Many hands make light work. Have more than a few minutes? Sign up for a distribution route to take posters to additional businesses. Routes for various areas of Dubuque are available. Volunteers are also needed for cities in the surrounding area including Platteville and Galena.

Social Media Ambassadors: Love social media? Want to easily get involved and support music in our community? Become a social media ambassador for NISOM! Volunteer on your schedule from home or anywhere you log in to Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. Social media ambassadors help spread the word about NISOM's great programs and events simply by liking, sharing, and/or retweeting posts.
