Nick Majesky

Guitar Faculty

Mr. Majesky began playing the guitar at an early age, originally the electric guitar in order to play and emulate the music and figures of grunge and rock music. After a year, however, he discovered classical music. A local music teacher introduced classical guitarists, such as; Andres Segovia and John Williams playing the works of J.S. Bach, Fernando Sor, and Francisco Tarrega. Fascinated with the instrument and its repertoire, Mr. Majesky took lessons during High School at the Community College, and later, studied music performance at the University of Akron under Steve Aron. Mr. Majesky has a B.A. in Classical Studies from Kent State University.
