In 2018, he Iowa Arts Council selected Northeast Iowa School of Music as one of its new Cultural Leadership Partners with a total award of $30,000 disbursed as $10,000 per year for three years. Funding for the Cultural Leadership Partner grant program is made possible by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
